It’s the time of year when most businesses start to do a mid-year review. How can looking back help you end the year on a successful note? When I got into the business, there wasn’t a lot of emphasis on looking back at the goals that you accomplished. I’ve learned that reflection is very important and that we all need to make sure we update our annual plans. To help with this, I’m here with three tips to strengthen your mid-year review.

1. Discover the gap. Look at what you’ve accomplished and compare that to the goals you set at the beginning of the year. What is missing? Have you hit your transaction or financial goals? Figure that out and then make adjustments.

“Reflection is extremely important.”

2. Review where your business came from. Ask yourself if what you want to focus on for the rest of the year will help you accomplish your goals. As an example, maybe you did a lot of sphere business in the beginning, and now you want to do more open houses.

3. Adjust your goals if necessary. Update your plan based on the activities you’re willing to do to accomplish your goals. Look at your calendar and make sure all of your important pieces are there, which will help you prioritize.

If you’re interested in any of these suggestions or want to learn more, reach out to me by phone call or email. I would be happy to help you!
